Bath, England

Here we are in Bath, England soaking in the history of the Roman Baths. Rich mineral water seeps up from the ground and the Romans tapped into the source hundreds of years ago. Here they would go to cleanse their dirty dusty bodies. There was actually Roman Steam Rooms and Saunas complete with lead pipes. Where talking hundreds of years ago. These Roman’s were engineering masters for their time. It was neat to explore the area. They would not let us take a bath in it however.

Here Riley’s gets ‘surround sound’ with the audio guides teaching him about the Roman Baths. (He was actually borrowing Michelle’s for the photo) This is the most famous attraction in Bath, England. The city was very Roman with column styles buildings flourishing all about the city. The city was absolutely beautiful!
After touring the Roman Baths it was nice to experience a modern spa first hand. This was like a futuristic spa if there was one. Inside, we felt like we were in a Star Trek movie, with rooms that looked like they were going to ‘Beam us up, Scottie.” For example, there were 4 circular steam rooms with different incense in each one, Frankincense, Lavender, Eucalyptus, and another one. There were showers that looked like metal detectors, and the spa also had a roof-top pool with overlooked a huge church. The hour that Michelle and I spent in the spa was one of the most relaxing hours of our lives!!!

This tree was just asking Riley to climb it. It was near a beautiful park in Bath. The branches just curved low and were quite easy to climb. Riley couldn’t help to not play on the tree for a few minutes. It was in front of a nice cottage. Were sure they didn’t mind.

Michelle is posing in front of a long semi-circle shaped building that is quite famous in Bath. We wondered around the city after checking out the Roman Baths and came across a very cool park near this building. There were the most beautiful botanical gardens we had ever seen before. It was as if we were in Eden while we walked around seeing the amazing flowers and multiple shades of green vegetation.
